What is a batch allocation?

Due to sustained demand from commercial print farms across Australia, we manage inventory via priority batch reservations. Each batch is a capped shipment — once slots are filled, the batch closes. Reserving your allocation guarantees your unit is held in the next dispatch run.

Do I need to pay upfront to reserve an allocation?

No. Reserving your allocation requires only your email address. No credit card or payment is required until your batch is confirmed and ready to ship.

How will I know when my batch is ready to ship?

You will receive an email notification with your 15% discount code (LAUNCHCORE15) and a direct checkout link the moment your batch is confirmed. Check your inbox — including your spam folder.

Can I reserve more than one kit?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Reply to your reservation confirmation email with the quantity you need and we will hold the additional units in the same batch where possible.

Which printers is this kit designed for?

The Triple-Threat Hardened Master Kit is engineered specifically for the Creality Ender 3 V3. It is not compatible with the Ender 3 V2, Ender 3 S1, or other Ender 3 variants without modification.

Will the hardened nozzles work with standard PLA and PETG?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Hardened steel nozzles work with all filament types including PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU, and abrasive materials such as carbon fibre, glass fibre, and glow-in-the-dark. There is no downside to running standard materials through a hardened nozzle.

What filaments require hardened nozzles?

Any filament with abrasive additives will rapidly wear a standard brass nozzle. This includes carbon fibre (CF), glass fibre (GF), metal-fill, glow-in-the-dark, and some wood-fill filaments. Hardened steel nozzles are rated for continuous use with these materials.

What is the maximum temperature rating for the bimetallic heatbreak?

The bi-metallic copper-titanium heatbreak is rated to 300°C+ continuous operation, making it suitable for high-temperature engineering filaments including PC, PA (Nylon), and PA-CF.

How difficult is the installation?

Accepted Answer

Installation is straightforward for anyone comfortable with basic printer maintenance. The full installation guide is available on the product page. Most users complete the swap in under 30 minutes with standard hex keys and a spanner.

Question 10

Do I need any special tools?

Accepted Answer

No special tools are required. You will need the hex keys supplied with your Ender 3 V3 and a small adjustable spanner or socket set to torque the nozzle correctly. We recommend installing at operating temperature (hot tightening) for a proper seal.

What nozzle size should I start with?

For most print farm applications, the 0.4mm nozzle is the best starting point — it balances speed and detail for the widest range of jobs. Use the 0.2mm for fine detail work and the 0.6mm for high-throughput draft printing or thick-wall structural parts.

Is the extruder restoration pack required?

Accepted Answer

The restoration pack is included to clean and recondition your extruder drive gear and idler arm before installing the new hotend components. Skipping this step on a heavily used printer can result in inconsistent extrusion. We recommend completing it as part of the full installation.

Where do you ship from?

All orders are dispatched from within Australia via Australia Post Express. There are no international delays or customs clearance issues.

How long does delivery take?

Standard delivery is 2–5 business days via Australia Post Express. Orders are processed and dispatched within 24 hours of payment confirmation.

Is express shipping free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Free Australia Post Express shipping is included on all orders. There are no minimum order thresholds.
